Lily is a recent college graduate who moves to Boston and opens up her own business. Right off the bat, she sparks up a romance with Ryle, and everything in her life is beginning to fall into place. When a long lost love from high school reappears though, she is torn between her past and her present. As someone who reads a lot of romance novels, this one has always stood out as one of my favourites. What captured my attention most was the way it delved into the type of relationship troubles that most romance authors steer away from. On the surface it may seem like a typical love story, but it is so much more than that. This is one of those books I wish I never read, only so I could experience reading it again for the first time.
